This year's Gameacon – the New Jersey version – will again take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey from October 19-21 at the Ocean Casino Hotel. Gameacon features the newest gaming technology, video and tabletop games for professionals and fans 

Last October WNJC 1360am and 88.3fm in Florida combined for a live broadcast from the Atlantic City Gameacon convention floor. Talked about all things gaming that day from the experiences of the attending gamers, to the new creations from artists, developers, writers and programmers. 

During the radio broadcast, Thunder World Radio's (Joe Kane) had a surprise 20-minute, on-air visit from Miss New Jersey, Kaitlyn Schoeffel, who was in South Jersey doing appearances.

In addition to talking about her beauty competition, she described the thrill of winning both showcase prizes on “The Price Is Right” . After getting stand-by tickets and being the first person to “Come on down!” Kaitlyn ended up with $33,000 in cash and prizes. In addition to beauty pageants, she tours the world as part of the show her boyfriend puts on who is a professional mentalist. Kaitlyn has visited 23 countries, 29 states and 4 continents. 

Last year was great but 2018 looks even better with almost 50 exhibitors showing off the best and newest games from independent creators. 

The Gameacon, organized by the International Games Developers Association, showcases video games, comics, cosplay, science fiction, comics, toys and related products and accessories.

The event – which takes place in Atlantic City, Las Vegas and NYC, promotes independent artists in game creation by providing a space for them to showcase their work for their fervent audience.

This year will be a blast for sure, with many new surprises in store for the gaming and comic enthusiast.
