Gilda has left her mark in several cities such as Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, where her shows have all sold out. Her collectors range from the owner of Playboy Mexico to American real estate moguls.

Garza’s mother and grandmother were both painters. These women, along with other strong and intelligent females, are who inspires Garza’s artwork every day. Her paintings depict women in a sexy but strong way, using playful colors and strong imagery, to create pieces that can be at once inspiring but also fun and meaningful.

Gilda loves to paint her Icons and these include Historical female figures such as Frida Kahol but also her modern day inspirations like premiere athletes. Gilda has recently painted iconic athletes such as boxing champion Canelo Alvarez. The portrait she did of Alvarez showed him holding up a title belt after winning a championship match. The day after he received the portrait, Alvarez went head-to-head in a match that signified one of the most important of his career. Alvarez won the match and as a result, fans of Garza claimed her portrait to be Alvarez’s “good luck charm”.

With a steadily growing fan base around the world in the art world, Gilda is definitely one of the top artists to watch.
