She graduated in Performing Arts at Cia de Teatro Contemporaneo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Also in Rio, she studied Acting for Film and TV at ArtsCenicas. She has worked in numerous classic and contemporary plays in Brazil and also at the hit youtube channel Parafernalha. In New York, Mey graduated in the One Year Conservatory at New York Film Academy and she has also studied Acting for Film and TV at Stella Adler Studios and Mel Mack Acting Studio. |
She is trained in different styles of dance(Jazz, Ballet and Street Dance) and also in stage combat and singing. As a producer she has worked at the huge success in Brazil “Opera do Malandro” by Chico Buarque at Cia de Teatro Contemporaneo.
In 2016, Mey shot the short movie Thumbs Up in LA by RedLine Films and recently the feature American Babu in NY, both in post production.
Mey is advocate of healthy lifestyle, she loves Yoga, beautiful landscapes, horseback riding, puppies, traveling and action movies.
