New York Fashion Week is drawing near.
Paris and New York Fashion Weeks are among the most highly anticipated events in the fashion world, as they bring together some of the most renowned designers. September is just around the corner, and with it comes a new edition of Fashion Week, which not only showcases top designers and their creations but also unites fashion enthusiasts, from executives and editors to celebrities and those who steal the spotlight with their unique looks.
New York Fashion Week 2023 promises six days filled with runway shows, exclusive entrances, and an array of exciting fashion proposals. Here, we share the official schedule so you won't miss any of your favorite showcases.
When is New York Fashion Week 2023?
If you plan to be in the Big Apple during this time or simply want to stay informed about the hottest trends of the season, mark your calendar for nearly a week as that's how long this edition will last.
New York Fashion Week kicks off on Friday, September 8, and continues until Wednesday, September 13. These six days will see various fashion houses presenting their latest collections. Unlike previous editions, not all runway shows will take place in the evening. This time, the schedule is more extensive, with shows starting as early as 10:00 AM and the last one wrapping up at 7:00 PM.

Additionally, as seen in previous editions in New York and around the world, independent designers not included in the official program will also present their collections.
Where to Watch the New York Fashion Week 2023 Shows?
Unless you're a celebrity of Zendaya's stature, the editor of an international magazine, extremely close to a designer, or bear a last name like Vanderwoodsen or Waldorf, securing a special invite to the runway shows can be challenging. However, don't fret; many of these shows are broadcast on the official New York Fashion Week website and the brands' Instagram accounts. The key is to keep track of the date and time for each showcase to ensure you don't miss out.

A Comeback and Many Celebrations
Many years ago, Helmut Lang opted to show in New York City ahead of the European shows, spearheading the shift that saw NYFW become the first city on the fashion week circuit. This season, 18 years after he walked away from fashion, Lang’s—former—eponymous label is back making news at NYFW, with Peter Do in the driver’s seat, kicking off the official schedule. This is also a season of anniversaries, with Coach’s Stuart Vevers, Rio Uribe’s Gypsy Sport, and Christian Siriano all celebrating milestones at their respective posts and labels.
